Hold

I took the decision to (try &) work from home today, since Ferguson wasn't quite himself this morning - still coughing really heavily.

Whilst I had my laptop there, he took my hand, wrapped my arm around him, positioned it on his lap & enclosed both of his hands around mine.

His attention was on The Incredibles, mine was no longer on my work, it was on him.
He kissed my hand & arm & stroked my face & told me that he loved me.

On reflection, it was a lovely day.
In other news, I made a sausage & stout stew!
