This is the first of a series of back blips as I have been away for a few days.

On Sunday we arrived in Stirling staying at a good hotel in the old town. Before finding somewhere to eat we had a walk around the old town of Stirling. Good exercise considering the steep hills.

A couple of cannons here guarding a junction leading up to the castle. Given the history of the city the invaders could be either English or Scottish.
