Planet Garage Daily! - On her throne

Yes as promised here we see the Queen on her throne.

I discovered the nest in my Garage on Monday after clearing up moss, sticks and twigs from the workbench. Couldn't work out why it was a mess, then noticed a nest inside a tub hanging from the rafter. No birds were around, perhaps I had scared them off inadvertently. Quick peek and no eggs were inside. Checked again on Tuesday and one egg was inside, then another on Wednesday.

So garage activity is at an absolute minimum. Shame the Garden furniture will not receive a sanding and painting :) This morning I needed bread from the overflow freezer which is about 2m from the nest. Sheesh we must eat! So I gingerly trod towards the freezer. She was on the nest at the time. Opened Freezer, groped for loaves then crept back out. It reminded me of Christmas Eve planting the A-hem's in the kids rooms. Walking on eggshells, but not literally! The bread run successful as she didn't budge from the nest. Dedication since I must have been a threat to her. Glad she stood firm.
