Adders

Had a brief trip to Pulborough Brooks nature reserve this afternoon (after a morning spent painting doors and windows). Intending to try and get some spring bird shots I came across these two adders just off the path (about 1 metre from a sign warning of Adders!).

They seemed to be enjoying the warm afternoon sun.
