Sax Party

Carol wants a new tenor sax so all her sax playing friends came around this afternoon with their instruments and we spent a couple of hours test drive them all.

Still as they say, There nothing wrong with a good bit of Sax between consenting adults !

For the record the Trevor James Custom was probably got the most votes for its hugely complex tone, the Yamaha and Yanagisawa were the mellowest and the vintage Dolnets are hard to play if you have short fingers. Other than that all we decided for certain was that we can all play our own saxes better than we can play other peoples as I guess we have all got comfortable with their eccentricities.
