There's a ballet being fought out in the alley

Okay so while I type the rest of this I'll let you see if you can place the origins of the title; it's a song lyric of course so that'll help those who might have been reaching for the King James or Shakespeare.

I used it because it's exactly what I thought when I saw this shot; it's one of a few I took whilst waiting to get my hair cut at Buzzz Barbers in East Grinstead. Two of the guys were wearing soft shoes without socks and the movements of all three were just so balletic. It was choreographed only by the individual demands of the cuts they were doing and their partners were the chairs rather than the customer - the dance remains the same regardless of the client.

So anyway. It walked like a Friday and it talked like a Friday so in the event of nothing better being offered I think we'll call it a Friday and be done with it while another one comes along next week. Of course it was also D&G Day so I had some Mindapple action with Ems so that's all good.

The title? "Jungleland"; Springsteen's magnum opus that brings to a close his 1975 album "Born to run". It's in Q Magazine's "1010 songs you must own" so if you've not got it I'd recommend grabbing a listen. And do whatever you do to celebrate the unveiling of a shiny weekend and jump on in there!
