A ghastly day!

Toothache is a singular pain. A throb from jaw to ear.

Zoe is a lovely dentist. Very gentle. Hardly felt the jabs. The drilling was comfortably numb. Apparently, I hadn't broken a tooth. I had a nasty cavity under my gold crown!

Oh well, there goes a bunch of money to put it right.
