Toss Up

The kids have taken to the front yard to practice. The rain finally held inside the clouds for an evening and we decided we'd rather be outside tonight. Practice was in order and for both kiddos it was good to have.

Their game schedule has been altered all week (yup, rain!), and in such, they haven't done much for throwing, batting or pitching. BJ is good about working with them on each of these areas.

Kaylee has really come a long way with her pitching, she will be starting her first game of the season in this position. It's a big responsibility - one that I was unsure if she'd want to tackle. Her coach and BJ have both agreed that she's one of the strongest pitchers on the team - and with this confidence boost, she's ready to take on the challenge! Lets hope for sunshine next week so games can be played!!
