Today was a very nice day in the Northwest. We enjoyed time with friends at the park, a drive in the country with dad and relaxation in the yard. In doing so we discovered that Miss F is really uncertain about the feeling of grass on her toes. She wouldn't walk on the grass, and contorted her feet every which way to avoid touching it if at all possible. We have such rainy winters that the poor girl has forgotten what it feels like to be barefoot outside. In her defense, the new job of walking likely feels quite different than lounging on a blanket in the grass last summer.
