My darling brother Rob called in for a visit this afternoon. He has come across from Tasmania to pick up a new motorbike. He is such good company, we sat around and nattered for hours.
This evening I cooked up a batch of raspberries and made 10 jars of jam! I make it with less than the standard weight for weight sugar and the result is vivid red, tangy, tantalising jam that is delicious on toast. My boys wont settle for the mass produced version any more. Can't say I blame them!
We are having a bit of a cold snap here. It was only around 15 C today and windy but perfect for walking, which I did twice today with Miss Georgie.
