Desperation again

Stuck at a friend's flat standing guard while the gas men change the meter from inside to outside, screwing up the nice finish as they go and leaving a copper pipe attached to the skirting all the way up the stairs. Lovely.
It's taking longer than they thought so C is going to be getting in a tizz about her afternoon appointment.
Once all that is dealt with we are going to a special indian restaurant this evening that serves no meat, no dairy and no alcohol. Not sure what's left to be special..
Oh, forgot to mention no garlic either.
