A&E

You gotta love the NHS. Mum has managed to fracture her foot so after having had an x-ray today we took her to A&E in Exeter, where "they will be expecting you, you can go anytime".

What a crock of s**t. After getting there at 7:15pm she wasn't seen until 11:35pm. 10 minutes later she came out with a tubigrip on her foot and crutches, not the boot she was sent there for. Apparently as it was out of hours they couldn't get a boot for her and she has to go back to the fracture clinic on Monday. What a joke.

To top it all off I didn't even get to have a KFC for dinner as it was so bloody late by the time we left, so I had to settle for a sandwich from Tesco instead. Not quite the same.... Livid!!
