Out of water

A day of boats today. First thing this morning, I walked around Hollingworth Lake (again) taking photographs of the rowers, several of which can be seen here.

Later, I went to the Aqueduct Marina at Church Minshull, near Middlewich, to check on my canal boat Marjorie. It was too cold and windy to bother with a short trip up the canal today. I was struck by the sense of helplessness of the boats out of the water, being improved and/or repaired.
