D Day Landings

Down in Devon this week. Arrived yesterday but by the time we had arrived, unpacked, went shopping and cooked dinner I had forgotten to take a blip for the day.
Weather was pretty good today so we piled into the car and headed out towards Torquay. First stop was Debenhams (only cos I get discount) for a coffee and bacon cob then off for a wander round the harbour. Didn`t realise that Torquay played it`s part in the D Day Landings until we saw these plaques installed on the harbour walls. I had other images in mind for today but this just felt right.
