Me Mowing
Today, I was awake at about 0600 and up nice and early, it was one of my better days and the synoptic charts indicated it was likely to be dry and sunny. I decided that as the grass was fairly dry I would try and cut it as much as I could. By 0900 I was out with the mower taking the first cut and by 1700 I had just finished putting the mower away after the fourth cut, but I did take an hour out around mid-day. Each cut took off as much as I reasonably could, so that the jungle lawn is now almost the length that it ought to be at this time of year, except for the part that is still under water. It does not usually take this long to mow, but by this time of year, it has usually been mowed once a week for several weeks; this has not been possible this year due to the wet weather. Susan took several pictures of me at work with the old D100 and this is me taking the final cut on the lowerlawn.
