Sunshine and a Brass Band

Great combination! Woke to sunshine streaming into the bedroom this morning. A welcome change from the incessant rain and grey skies. Went into Thirsk to put in a couple of hours at 'the shop'. It's lovely to see the market set out in the sun, it must be miserable setting up a stall in the rain. The band was playing in it's usual spot in the centre of the market place and it was good to see people enjoying both the weather and the music. I had the shop door open and was able to hear the band, a lovely sound.
Prepared a casserole after lunch ready for tomorrow. Optimistically hoping for another fine day to go walking a little further away. Walked the local fields this afternoon and they are still like paddy fields. Could this be the start of Summer?
