Penny for Your Thoughts
I just caught the tail end of a mini-fashion show. The neighbourhood clothing shops rolled out the red carpet in honour of Mother's Day, and I arrived in time literally for the last 30 seconds. I quickly pulled out my camera and grabbed a couple of shots, with no time to adjust the settings. I chose this one, even though it was to dark and I had to use Photoshop to lighten it a bit.
I wondered what she was thinking with such a serious look on her face. Was she tired? Bored? I somehow found her more appealing than the ones with smiles plastered on their faces.
I was also wondering about the thinking behind the show. The three women at the left of the photo are fairly indicative of the neighbourhood demographic. The fashion show was probably meant more to entertain than to actually sell clothing...
