Spray Day

This blip is for those of you who've known me, woman and girl, city girl and labourer, for a long time.

We finished the first spray of the vineyard today with the help of Tango the tractor and Gorgeous the sprayer. One of us drove and the other walked between the vines with the wand. This is the only time we've sprayed the vineyard with the help of a machine which meant we didn't have to lug hundreds of litres of gloop, up and down hill, on our shoulders.

We finished filthy, happy and still able to walk. We didn't feel like sobbing and it didn't rain.
