Liverpool to Liverpool

Came across Simon Faithfull's book 'Chronicles of an Aimless Journey' recently in the library and thought I'd go take a look. The 181 line drawings he made on his 3,000 mile journey by container ship, train and ferry from Liverpool UK to Liverpool Nova Scotia are sandblasted into the paving stones and etched into the glass at the front of Lime St Station.

I like the idea that he made postcards of his drawings and sent them back to random addresses taken from the Liverpool UK phone book - 'wish you were here'
"There is only one person that has since got in touch," he says, "so there are still another 180 people out there wondering why they have received one!"
