looking for mum

This is a lil baby goosander chick , that was brought to the hospital today. She'd been found with her siblings in a road, but they only caught this one. Then a bit later we were told they caught the others and could they bring them in, it was at this point I asked if there was a river or pond close by....yes was the reply....si I asked the to look for the mother.
After a little time and a bumpy car journey... mother and kids were reunited! Happy ending.
Please remember it's chick time in the UK and parents will often (not always) look after their chicks wherever they are.
