Walking on sunshine

Beautiful sunny good to be alive kind of morning. Saw off my nephew to the airport then headed for a lovely long dog walk. The last 2 weeks have been so appalling that we have only ventured for a short distances so it was a joy, for me, and the dog to have a leisurely stroll in the sun. Of course, meeting up with friends and the inevitable latte at the Dragonfly Coffee too.

It is my Dad's 85th birthday today; his life is pretty difficult with his disability but we hope he had a good day. He enjoyed being with us, getting lots of presents and cards and also my cousin Ros and her family came to join us. Recently Dad was unable to get to her father's funeral so all being together was extra special
