Up and atom this morning! (with a wee nudge from Mrs blip)

Hair appointment with my lovely hairdresser K, she's been styling my hair for, oh about 18yrs!

It's a work in progress :)

Then a wander to the NMS in Chambers Street, to pick up My Girls drawings, they'd kept them from the Christmas Art Competition and I'd eventually gotten around to picking them up.

Next stop, 20 20 on Queen Street, where I had an appt for a eye-test for contact lenses. This differs from a regular eye-test and isn't covered by the NHS, so it costs £25

'serves you right you vain bugger' I hear you say.

But no, I need them for a specific purpose, as the trip that I'm going on glasses would get in the way, or get damaged, or both!

As I needed lenses at very short notice the optician kindly gave me 6 pairs to take away for gratis

A fairly quiet day today apart from that, well another trip back into town to pick up the glazed and fired pottery that the girls did a few days ago, it all looks pretty impressive.

It's late and the girls have just gone to their beds, so it looks like it's just Sally Bowles and me.
