Harrison's yellow or . . .
Oregon Trail rose or ...
most famously, as the Yellow Rose of Texas. I always enjoy this splash of colour as I drive into town. Our nieghbour in Tucson had a glorious bush of these.
Spent most of the morning at a funeral Mass. Most disconcerting, and I thought the Roman Catholic Church is not happy with this, when instead of a coffin ... er ... casket, a box of ashes is laid before the altar. Anyway this was a much loved member of the church community and the community at large.
Seven years and five days hence.
