Mothers' Day Brunch

Today in NZ it's Mothers' Day. a time for me to remember my own wonderful mother, gone now nearly 20 years and missed every day, and my wonderful mother-in-law, a better one you couldn't hope to have, she's been gone 30 years and is still sadly missed. How lucky we've been.

And now my own family spoil me on Mothers' Day - one from a distance with cards, gifts, texts and calls, and one from close by with a delicious brunch, and my car cleaned, along with the cards and gifts. I never feel I deserve it, but I love them both more than I can say, and perhaps in the end that's enough.
