Off the Beaten Track.

I have a really nice old book that details many little towns in Australia that are "Off the Beaten Track". I was just reading about some of the towns out near Cameron Corner (where SA, NSW & QLD borders meet) which I passed through just over a year ago now in my migration from Adelaide to Brisbane. Really enjoyed the isolation and the calmness and beauty of the outback. Staying overnight at Cameron Corner was an experience I would dearly love to have again and next time around I would have my camera at the ready to capture what I can only describe as one of the best views of the Milky Way I have ever seen in my entire life. The sound of dingoes howling off in the distance in the middle of the night was also eerie but awesome.
