Hopeless the Wonder Dog was attacked by Charlotte (the big yellow stupid) and Maia (the yellow cur) in an altercation over a deer bone.

Fotunately L and A were able to intercede before Hopeless was eviscerated .

The kinder kept their cool, and called Dr P before she left the clinic so she was able to bring home a suture pack and supplies, while I once again converted the kitchen island into a surgical suite.

"All's well that ends well", and Hopeless should be up and crapping in the hallway by nightfall.
