The foothills near Perugia.

I booked a little apartment in a hill village in Umbria last night using the hotels internet. So I decided to go east again today before I head south tomorrow. Having decided to stay on for another night in Chianciano . I travelled on across the mountains to Perugia. Very much not tourist country. Lots of small vineyards and olive groves. Continually stopped the car and went for short walks, just to soak up the atmosphere.
Locals friendly but you have to watch out for the dogs.
