I woke to rain, but it looked as though it would fade as the day went on. I had a good swim. Some mornings there is hardly anyone in the pool and today I had the water to myself for a short while. It was bliss.

The rest of the day was spent getting on top of the day to day stuff. Nick did a great job whilst I was away, but I found enough to keep me busy. The sun revealed itself for all of a few minutes and I took the opportunity to walk in the garden and check my seedlings. Finally they are pushing up through the soil and it always lifts my spirits to see it.
