Chestnut Sunday

Every year in May there is a Chestnut Sunday celebration with a parade and stalls and rides, a great family occasion, we took a picnic, this year there were various re-enactments and a chance to see soem weapons up close!

Gulli and I walked there and stumbled on a house sale, an old converted church and factory lived in by a craftsman and his wife, selling all manner of things to raise money for poor Guatemalan children, they were a great couple and the building is amazing, we bought lots of records and bits n bobs.

Aunty Jane is here and we have steak for dinner!
