Horses and dragons and all things art
That's what our little girl is made of.
Well...
Our BIG girl.
She's 17 now and we don't get to see a lot of her.
She's spent the weekend with her boyfriend and, as a special treat when she got back, I let her wash the 9 "interesting" cups I found in varied phases of fester in her bedroom.
I don't go in her room very often - it's difficult to get through the door but it's quite nice to look at a room that is totally someone's. I've always shared and never had totally Rachel space. But look around Gemma's room and it is Gemma - even when she's not there.
Richard took Tess off for a cycle ride along the Tarka trail today and I managed to start my OU assignment in between general pootling and pottering. I noticed our garden is looking decidedly boring and lacking in colour. I can't wait to do something about that
Tess is now exhausted, emotional and complaining of achy legs. I hope it's just the cycling. I've always worried massively about every single ache and pain everyone I love has.
(Oh - and, yes, everything in the photo is dusty. I think at 17, she can start to work out for herself when things need cleaning)
