Largo Kirk

A cold, wet and windy Sunday in Largo. I was "on" as one of the duty Elders at Church this morning. Largo and Newburn Parish Church is a beautiful ancient building and the booklet I've chosen for today's blip gives a wonderful description of the building both inside and out. There has been a place of worship on this site for over 1100 years and still going strong!

Today was the family service and the children were a delight - helping to give out the hymn books, leading the prayers and readings and gathering in the books at the end. A delightful day.
