Mother's Day Kayaking!

I told my mom we could do whatever she wanted for Mother's Day. She wanted to go kayaking on a part of the Wekiva River system she hadn't been on before. We drove up to King's Landing in Apopka, and kayaked upstream for a while before turning around and heading back the same way we had come. We took a brief stop on the way upstream at this little island to take some pictures -- I was standing in 6" deep water to take this picture of my mom!
