Down the strawberry patch
I bought these strawberry plants last year from Audley End, they were in a sale and going cheap because it was the end of the season. I must admit I didn't hold out much hope for them but I am so pleased to see how much they have grown over the last few weeks. The leaves are big and glossy and they have had numerous flowers on them, even better is the fact that there are the signs of the first strawberries starting to appear!
Today has been a pottering day. It started with me sitting outside and having my breakfast this morning which was lovely. I have also done some washing, a little light weeding and planted some sunflower seeds. And of course sat in my summerhouse :o)
