Beaver day out

We took the Beavers to Earlswood today and had a great time! The weather was great, especially considering how it's been recently, although it was extremely muddy!
We went by train, walked and picnicked in the woods, heard a cuckoo, explored by the lakes, saw lots of water birds, had an ice cream, went to an adventure playground, got very muddy, caught the train back - and then some of us slept over in the church hall before going to church parade.
A great experience, very tiring, but enjoyed by all I think.

PS Needless to say this sign was not completely heeded!!
