The old and new at Geneva Airport

Geneva used to be a major Swissair hub but after the collapse of the old Swissair in 2002 after 9/11; Easyjet grew to make it a major centre. Swiss International Air Lines was founded on the base of the former regional Swissair subsidiary Crossair

There is a Lufthansa jet in the background. Lufthansa took over the new Swiss International in 2005.
