A little splash of colour

A rather grim day weather-wise, and as the rain hammered down and the wind gusted, I wasn't feeling inspired. However, there is always something beautiful in the garden so I dragged myself out and found a little blast of colour in the bleakness by way of my little acer tree. I am now hugging the radiator and defrosting my fingers...

For those following the family tree saga, the in-laws were very appreciative! A few little tweaks and it will be ready to share with the wider clan. I was slaving over a hot stove yesterday cooking them dinner, so didn't have time to blip.
