Fields of gold

There were a lot of sore heads at the post wedding breakfast this morning but a full English helped most of us. It took a while for us to get moving and it was great to make plans for a follow up girls weekend which Im looking forward to already. We drove back down the coast and then headed back towards Ipswich.

I love spring when the weather is good and the countryside comes to life. I couldn't resist pulling over to take a photo of perfect blue skies contrasting against the golden yellow of the field of rapeseed.

We didn't have the best journey back to London as we had to go via Chelmsford and get a bus replacement service so it took ages. It was all worthwhile as we have had a great weekend and looking forward to seeing everyone again soon.
