Suburban carpets

Walking home after the school drop off I happily kicked through the gorgeous carpets of leaves all over the paths, gutters and suburban lawns. I could take a squillon blips of autumn, the cool wind blows the colours from the trees which draped over anything that sits still. It's glorious.
