May Day Parade

This magnificent native dancer was in the 38th Minneapolis May Day Parade which had been postponed due to flooded streets last week from heavy rain. Every year the Heart of the Beast Theatre stages the May Day Parade celebrating new life. The parade is followed by a play whose theme is different every year, then the Sun is boated across the lake at Powderhorn Park and greeted by the players and crowd.
