A family of Canada Geese

This family of geese attempted to cross the entry ramp to the highway but turned around when we drove up to hem. we stopped to ttake some pics, but as I got back imto the car, one of the adults charged my car with wings flapping. Wonder why he (or she?) waited to "attack" until after I was done taking my pics?
