Autumn Concert
Entitled "Madrigals and Partsongs". It went very well. The audience liked it (and the afternoon tea, so lovingly prepared by the singers - the things we do!).
We did actually sing in tune (most of the time), which is quite an accomplishment with those pieces that are essentially unaccompanied - we've not been accustomed to that. So good on us!
(It's always tricky keeping an eye on the conductor when one is singing in a foreign language, too (there were songs in French, German and Latin, as well as English), but he seemed pleased afterwards, so I guess we must have followed his directions all right.)
Doing it all again at Lithgow next Sunday.
