Busy day topped with a party at the other end of town for a couple who were (a) getting engaged and (b) leaving to live on the other side of the word. So essentially, they were saying that we weren't going to be invited to the wedding unless we went to Australia.

"Congratulations," I said.
"Fo leaving?"
"For getting engaged."
"Thanks."
"Hope you have a lovely time."
"Being engaged?"
"In Australia. Also being engaged."
"I'm going to go talk to someone else."
"Sure."
