Out with the old.....

I drove my wee car for the penultimate time today. Tomorrow it's being traded in for something decidedly newer and sportier. When I changed jobs earlier this year I started driving to work, which mainly involves negotiating windy country roads with not too many straight bits for overtaking. Which is fine, unless you're tying to overtake in my 1.2 litre 55 bhp VW Polo. Then it's pretty hairy stuff, to say the least.

So after quite a few aborted overtaking manouvres and more than one near miss, my current car just had to be changed for a bigger and better one, namely a Golf 1.4 TSI GT with a whopping 170 horses.

This makes me happy :)

(Although I'm sure I'll be driving very slowly until I get used to all that power!)
