THE DISSAPPEARING SPARROW

Once commonplace the humble sparrow is dissappearing fast. The bird is becoming very rare across Europe, from France to the Ukraine it's the same story. Paris has lost 200,000 sparrows over the past 17 years. In Britian numbers have fallen in all major cities. Over here in Ireland they have fallen a little but we still have reasonable numbers.
