Wiscombe Park meetings in 2012
My type of girl.... Gets her MG out and goes racing on a Sunday. I would adjust her tappets any day.
The Hill climb is set in the grounds of Wiscombe House, built in 1820 it staged a hill climb on August 24th 1958, Castle Straight and the Martini Hairpin were added during 1960/61.
The scenic beauty of Wiscombe Park especially at this time of year with fresh Beach leaf and Bluebells provides a superb backdrop for the most emotive meeting of the season VSCC (vintage sports car club) The sight, sound and smell of vintage racing cars is something to behold, and you can get right up close and personnel with driver and car.
The hill record currently stands at 34.16s, which is very fast when you consider how tight the track is.
Well worth a visit.
