Grey day

It's been raining on and off all day. The seagulls seem to be enjoying it and there's a couple nesting on the flat roof by the side of my building. We watch this every year. It's rather fun to see the young ones emerge, grow and learn to fly using the long flat roof as a runway (with a few bumpy landings). I'm also rather glad they're not right on top of me squawking. The seafront is wet and windy and it seems impossible after the last few days of warm(ish) sunshine.
