Kids with Kids

My wife's schools are doing a fun raising project for the charity 'Kids for Kids' - it's a charity set up to help children in Darfur, Sudan - to publicise the event 3 children from each school visited the baby goats at Adam Henson's Cotswold farm Park - hence Kids with Kids!

KIDS FOR KIDS lends 6 goats to a family for 2 years - providing milk for the children, and forming the nucleus of a little flock. They agree not to sell the KIDS FOR KIDS goats and they sign an undertaking to care for them in trust - but the kids are theirs. After 2 years they pass on 6 first born offspring to another family in need.

The schools have produce a book titled Goat Art where all the pupils have done a drawing of a goat - these books will be sold to parents and friends of the school and during the evening of 22/05/12 there will be a fund raising event at Longborough Village Hall where Patricia Parker, the founder of the charity, is giving a talk on the work of the charity - raffle and auction as well - should be a good evening.
