Day 4 - Watford Colosseum, Watford (natch)

A new venue for Mugenkyo, the Watford Colosseum is a concert hall in a converted council building which recently underwent a full makeover. Concert Halls mean great acoustics but (usually) miniscule wings and entry points which is difficult for our sort of show. Unfortunately ticket numbers are also rather low, which we blamed immediately on the fact that it was the last day of the English Football Premier League. Two good friends of mine were in attendance though, as well as some very prominent Taiko players in the UK scene so we wanted to make a good impression. Backstage was hilariously chaotic but onstage was the best so far for us, I even managed to relax some more and enjoy myself - I still made mistakes but nothing major and my playing definitely improved compared to previous nights. A good learning experience once again.
