#Scarborough Castle

A view of Scarborough Castle, and the North Bay beyond, as seen from the viewing platform in the castle grounds, which is the only place one can see both North and South Bays in one sweep. And a beautiful day it was too.

Unfortunately, this was shot while I was shooting pics for a story about some shocking vandalism which had happened over the weekend, irrepairably damaging many ancient stones.
Putting on my amateur detective hat, I suspected the attack was not mindless vandalism, but was actually planned on doing the most 'painful' damage... Or just my journalistic theory?
