Reading at the end of the day.

Dull and with drizzle today but sunny in the late afternoon.
The problems of Greece and her people are very sad. There must be a better way of dealing with the problem than simply putting people out of work.
Here I am at the tail end of the day enjoying a book of photos by Don McCullin, the pictures show the desolation in the English town of Consett after the steel works closed down and lots of people lost their jobs. His B&W picture multiply the desolation by their darkness and film grain.
